DREAM: I’m in my car ready to drive to the airport for Europe. Stephanie is coming with me and so is James Graves. I’m preparing my belongings—taking patches off my book bag because I know the safety pins won’t make it pass security. Pulling out empty binders and other things I won’t need—trying to condense my luggage. As we’re reversing out of the driveway, my boss Cecily runs out and sprays white cleaning foam all over the front of the car as a sending-off joke. Some of it gets through the open window causing me to cough. At first I thought she was mad I was ditching China Wok for a few weeks cause it’s rare to see Cecily pull a prank. We’re off down the road to reach the airport on time. I’m drinking a paper cup with a mixture of iced coke and peach. James complains about the lack of tunes on the stereo but my iPod is packed away.

In Hampton at Tim’s studio rehearsing Musicplayer songs. Trying to get on the same page musically...he expressed his desire to stay with pop sensibilities. He’s very opinionated and honest, which I like.

On the 30-minute drive home I’m bombarded with friends wanting to hang out and I find myself a little irritated by it because I have a list of things to accomplish and the days, hours, and minutes just fly by.

Lemon Pepper Salmon with Onions and Orange Peppers, Fettuccine, and Baby Broccoli.

Editing on Ableton.

Cheerios with Brown Sugar.

Some people are dead ends in your life. Sometimes it’s hard to identify them before it’s too late. It’s terribly disappointing when you find them out too early...and you wanted so badly for them to be an open never-ending path.
