I’m on the clock for China Wok, apparently until 2 a.m., which is unusual. It’s understood that Anthony just got a new job at a hotel down the street. I stop in for a visit. At the counter he whispers to his manager upon my arrival and informs me we can use one of the rooms to party in later tonight. We walk into the room. Observing all it has to offer; it’s impressive. Loft bunk beds. A table with an array of fancy bowls of food: pastas, fruit, and some strange snacks I’m not familiar with. For some reason I’m thirsty, “I just need some juice or something.” I open up a mini-fridge and pull out a liter of carbonated orange juice. Anthony leaves at some point and the story changes drastically. A girl has joined me in the room. I know her very well on a friendship level and things have progressed. We become sexually intimate for the first time. I’m hesitant and find her vagina slightly unpleasant. And her positions become awkward and not conducive for sex. Despite, we continue in our new experience.

While out to get groceries and pick up fries Darren spots me on the road and yells out of his window as I’m making a left turn, “WHY ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR ROOM?!” I point in acknowledgement and, even though he can’t hear me at this point, say, “More importantly, why are you out of your room?”

Scrambled Egg with Hummus. Five Guys French Fries with Ketchup. Honey Oolong Tea.

Prepping the house – making repairs – clearing out the blanket corner where we feared black widows might be dwelling but they weren’t. In place of it we design an enclosure using the bottom of a loft bed and a blanket. It’s a multipurpose corner. We’re having a party tonight called A PANDA PARTY, in respects to Amanda returning to Virginia Beach. It seems to be quite a hyped up event on Facebook so we expect a big crowd.

...

The party people pile in soon after 10 o’clock. Stephanie brought Jell-O shots Some are dressed in Panda attire. Sharing Chocolate Chip Cookies with everyone. The feet shuffle along the living room floor to the tunes of strange electronica and silly Youtube videos. Magic carpet rides for all (or carpet baptism for some)! It’s LIVE.

When the hour strikes past one I gather a small crew and head to the Friend’s School for basketball and playground shenanigans.

...

Back home. Cleaning up. Settling down in my room and eating something substantial: Red Beans and Rice with Broccoli and Carrots.

Sleep sometime after 4 a.m.
