DREAM: Supposed to have MUSICPLAYER practice in this garage-like building. I cross the yard and find my dad. He’s wearing glasses and has a mustache—in my mind I expect him to look a little older but he looks younger. I heard that the garage room is being used tonight for another event so I confront him about it. He has the schedule but didn’t tell me in advance. I notice two ping-pong tables set up side by side each other, both with big holes and cracks in them. I walk around the front of my dad’s house. A lot of people are hanging out in the fields nearby. Talking with one of them, “Let’s play kickball! Or soccer, football, baseball, ping-pong!” My dad’s backyard is set up for various sports.

Just after 5 p.m. I stumble out of bed.

Breakfast: Toasted English Muffin with Butter and Blackberry Jam. Orange Juice. Zinc, Blackberry Jam.

I pull apart the washing machine and start troubleshooting what could be wrong with it. After some researching online and some mechanical investigation, I discover the plastic air tube is clogged with black lint/gunk. It’s important for it to be clear because this is what tells the machine to stop filling the basin with water. I cut of the clogged part of the tube, which shortens it, and place it back on. Problem solved.

Meanwhile I notice another piss spot on the futon in the computer room. Just to make sure it wasn’t Ambrotious I put him near the spot and it seems foreign to him. Kyle puts his cat up to the spot and she runs away as if she was guilty. It makes sense that it would be Kyle’s cat because she’s restricted to his room and when she gets out she’s inclined to mark her territory.

A guy from Craigslist stops in to buy Phil’s road bike.

Cleaning up the cat urine with baking soda, vinegar, peroxide, and dish soap.

Art confronts me about a possible Craigslist scam where the buyer sent him a check for $1,850 asking him to wire the difference from the iphone he’s selling. I try to give him some pointers on how to tell from the start that it’s a scam.

James comes over to join Art and I for poker. Eating Chocolate Chip Cookies and drinking Coffee. James wins his first game at the house. Art and I do a turbo round after he leaves. I win and break even.

“I implore you good sir, nothing surprised.”
