DREAM: Observing a traditional New Years celebration on an island in China. President Obama is in attendance. Instead of a ball dropping at midnight, an old wise man does a sort of summersault onto a mound with a bullseye painted into it. The strange thing is that it’s still daytime when this happens. I hear the millions of Chinese applaud and cheer, celebrating the New Year. Later on, the wise man sends out his young daughter on a journey to find her a “man”. I watch her walk off into a forest, then into a building. Switch to a scene of me on the second or third floor of this building by a window, lifting up some plastic and looking down below over a big empty room. Worried about being stuck there overnight, I start yelling to see if anyone is there, “Hello! Hello!” I notice a white bust of a woman’s head of a neoclassical design. Her eyes begin to flicker open, then her mouth moves and she’s speaking to me. She grows and grows, growing legs, then feet, then upper torso, then arms and hands. She darts up and walks around up the stairs meeting me at the top. She’s in full-blown human form now. I follow her as she escorts me around the building. She keeps checking to see if I’m okay, “Do you need some clothes? Or water?” Somehow we find the little girl that belongs to the wise man. The goal now is to get out of there. The three of us get on this elevator that’s more like a small spinning carousel. We get in and it starts spinning slowly but not elevating up or down. It just moves through this cafeteria room where a few Asian men are eating. One of them we are trying to hide from. I’m afraid he will see us – trying to act normal and calm. We make it to the other elevator room, in which the walls are made of mirrors. The Asian man creeps in and is in shock that all three of us are together and that we’re trying to escape. He seems more fearful than we are…
