Waking up at 11:18 a.m.

Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Blueberries, Maple Syrup, and Almond Milk. Earl Grey Tea.

Teaching afternoon lessons at Music Makers.

Smoked Salmon Sandwich with Vegan Cream Cheese, Mustard, and Tomato. Salt n Vinegar Chips. Coffee.

Between Ana’s car and mom’s truck all the music gear is loaded up. We head to Smartmouth in Norfolk for the Musicplayer gig. This time they got a nice size stage in the warehouse room for us to perform on. We’ve got plenty of space we don’t even know what to do with. Spirits are high between Ana and I as we fly through our usual songs – both of us playing tight and with good energy. Meanwhile, patrons play corn hole and walk their dogs around. Friends and family show up. Luke and Megan, both students of mine, make an appearance and do “Don’t Stop Me Now”. And I did an arrangement of that viral country hip hop song, “Old Town Road”, while Ana dances around in a cowboy hat.

Eating on some Mediterranean from a food truck.

Unloading all the gear back to the studio. Finally back after showering.

Later on, Ana enters my bedroom with love intentions – lights dimmed with candles lit...

Sleep 3 a.m.
