Waking up at 11:15 a.m.

Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Strawberries, Maple Syrup, and Kefir. Irish Breakfast Tea.

Teaching a couple lessons at Music Makers.

Mom got a little stressed out and overwhelmed earlier after her truck wouldn’t start for the thousandth time. The mechanic that’s been looking at it can’t figure out why it won’t start. Sometimes it does but it’s intermittent. On top of that a bunch of things were happening at the studio.

Back home.

Scrambled Eggs. Sweet Potato Biscuits with Butter and Jam. Sante Fe Potatoes. Coffee. Navel Orange.

Finishing up the taxes for Music Makers. Feeling somewhat accomplished. This time I took notes so next year goes smoothly. Still gotta do personal taxes.

Transporting gear to the rehearsal spot off Lynnhaven Rd and setting up for the spring session of MMLIVE tomorrow.

Honey Crisp Apple.

Ana and I attend the “punk rock” show at Toast featuring NFK Nightmares, Doll Baby, Bad Magic, and Mas Y Mas (with Josiah on drums, Aaron on bass, Jonnie on guitar, and Vinny of course on lead). It’s a cold and rainy night in Norfolk but we stay cozy inside the narrow warehouse room. Enjoying some Chili Bean Bowls, Kale, and Toast by the bar.

Sleep 3 a.m.
