Waking up at 10:45 a.m.

Making Pancakes for the three of us, using Goat’s Milk Yogurt and a Buttermilk Mix. Coffee to go with.

Today’s the big day for Music Makers LIVE at Eagles Nest! A lot of effort and time goes into setting up the stage before and breaking down after. Edwin is my sidekick today. All the bands did a wonderful job. It’s a packed house. In the adult band I chose to be the drummer. I’m nervous whenever I perform on an instrument I don’t normally play. But it’s good for me to keep my chops up.

I sneak in a snack on a Banana somewhere in there.

After loading everything out and back at the rehearsal spot/studio I finally arrive home to enjoy a very late lunch of Scrambled Eggs, a Bagel, and Green Tea. Ana’s brother, Jeremy, is visiting. We all have a good time reciting excerpts from a poetry book in various accents.

Organizing the video footage and recapping the show. Catching up on business.

Chili (provided by Olivia and Jimmy) with Spinach and Rice.

At the studio putting the drums back together and organizing all the gear.

I explain to Ana while she’s all tucked in her bed drowning in pillows that 80% of my job is just moving stuff around. It’s barely music. Even though it is there’s another side that most people don’t understand.

Sleep 3:45 a.m.
