Michael Jordan apparently became interested in gymnastics. I observe him use the flying rings attached to this colossal swing machine. Somehow I’m on the rings too along with a buddy of ours. We all start swinging in strides of great distances. Adrenaline is high. We just keep swinging and swinging, trying not to lose control and collide into each other.

Waking up at 11 a.m.

Strawberry Toaster Pastries. Orange Juice.

All day shift at China Wok.

It’s a typical non-fun day.

Banana. Egg. Five Guys French Fries with Ketchup. Honey Green Tea.

Business picks up in the evening.

While delivering through one of my usual neighborhoods I come across a truck towing what’s supposed to resemble Santa’s sleigh. It looks almost surreal at first. Twinkling reindeer-shaped Christmas lights atop the roof with a real-life Santa Claus laughing with a handful of kids in the back.

At the customer’s doorstep.

Me: “I think I just saw Santa Claus.”

Snacking on Chocolate Truffles.

Later on I’m driving through another neighborhood. I notice a raccoon squirming in agony in the middle of the road, but there’s not enough time to stop and so I plow right over him, without nipping any part of his body. But it’s apparent he was already run over by the car in front of me. There’s nothing I can do. I feel a sudden chill run down my spine...a feeling of grief. I feel really bad for the little guy.

Finally off work.

Hot and Sour Soup with Broccoli and Rice.

Watching Young Adult (2011).

Fortune cookie says, “If at first you do succeed...try something harder.”

Spending a good amount of time troubleshooting my email program, which has decided to stop receiving emails.

Pumpkin Pie and Mineral Water.

Sleep 4 a.m.

[i] Spongebob Streetart.
