DREAM: I’m a tall black guy who is understood to be an adept basketball player. Working for some kind of school, I corral all the students in the gym. I have a team working with me as they pull down a projector screen. I’m talking into a microphone and exclaiming, “This is your new child! This is your new child!” Somebody that is with us has gotten pregnant without having a partner or having sex, but she’s not necessarily a virgin. This child is supposed to bring some kind of revelation or hope to the school or maybe even the world. The kids in the gym aren’t listening and seem to be walking away or having their own conversations. ☼☼☼☼☼ Swimming in a pool at night with others. I’ve dropped my glasses. They were within my grasp a few minutes ago but slowly floated down to the bottom. It’s too deep and I’m afraid of the unknown water creatures. I swim away not knowing what to do, but then I see Margot walking by near the spot. For some reason, it’s not that deep anymore. The water level is close to her waist. I come back and lift my glasses with my feet. I put them on and can see clearly now. Everybody is playing in the water around me and having a good time.

2:10 p.m. I wake up from a hard sleep.

Breakfast: Toasted Plain Bagel with Butter and Blackberry Spread. Mango Orange Juice. Zinc, Biotin, Alfalfa Grain.

Josiah is producing ambient sounds with his electric guitar in the show room.

I run to a few bookstores looking for the book that means a lot to me right now.

Lunch: Grilled Cheese with Tomato. Salt N Vinegar Chips. Mango Oolong Tea. Peaches.

Work at China Wok.

There she is, the bag lady from yesterday sitting in front of Borders reading and then sometimes talking with strangers, probably enlightening them with how much she knows and understands more than they.

Snacking on peaches.

Delivering an order on 34th street at Mayflower Apartments. I have to get to the 12th floor. I follow a lady with a black and white Pomeranian dog onto the elevator on the left side of the building. She’s bulky yet pretty and has the cutest face I’ve seen all day. There’s that awkward silence one experiences with a stranger when riding an elevator. Trying to relieve it with some kind of small talk I say, “He’s cute.” “Oh, thank you. Yeah and he knows it.” After getting off and finishing the delivery I get on the elevator on the right side of the building because it’s closer to the door. Another lady with a brown Pomeranian dog hops on with me. She’s attractive yet skinny and rocks huge brown sunglasses. Feeling a little Déjà vu. “Cute dog,” I say. She just responds with a light cackle.

Eating Crab Rangoon.

Back at home, Pete from The House Floor is picking up Josiah and taking him to New York.

Sipping on Darjeeling Tea and figuring out some stuff on Ableton for recording.

Dinner: Salmon and Spinach filled Crepes. Steamed Broccoli and Carrots.

At the storage unit organizing and practicing.

Margot visits me after she just got off work.

Guitar still in hand, “Let me impress you with my licks.”

It’s interesting how desires sneak up on you. Even if you aren’t having such strong feelings to want something at a particular moment, it’s possible to feel the complete opposite in a matter of seconds. Or maybe the desires are just unraveled from what’s already there to begin with. This makes the most sense. Either way, to feel such ecstasy is to feel alive. You reach the highest of highs of the human sensory system. Sometimes during sex I’m convinced something more spiritual is happening other than the obvious physical bliss.

Eating a bowl of Frosted Flakes Cereal.

Playing Unreal.

Sleep around 6:45 a.m.
