Waking up around noon. Elvis is rustling around my bedroom antsy to get out and eat his breakfast.
Cereal with Blueberries. Tea.
Catching up on business.
Picking up some baked things at Prosperity. I decided to drive the truck and turns out the radiator is leaking – it’s clean out and starts steaming by the time I get to Lowe’s. Pouring a whole gallon of coolant in to last me till the house.
Chores.
Showing Umit, my Turkish roommate, the basketball courts at Lynnhaven. He said he used to play basketball in school and was eager to get out and play. It’s a beautiful day. We shoot around and play a few games. Then, we manage to join a 4v4 game for a long while until the sun goes down. The court lights don’t work anymore so we have to put a stop to the tie breaker game at some point.
Back home. Ana cooked us a nice dinner: Bean and Veggie Soup with this Sheep shaped Challah bread we picked up from Prosperity.
Doing chores and things. Taking the recycle out, something Ana and I have to do from time to time.
Grapefruit. Hot Cross Bun. Chips.
