Waking up at 10:08 a.m.

My dad and his wife Patty come over for breakfast with Ana and I. We make Biscuits, Pancakes, Eggs, Cantaloupe, and Coffee for everyone.

Errands with Ana. We stop by Walmart to see what kind of window A/C units they have. We end up walking out with a new larger rice cooker, a bottle of maple syrup, and a watermelon. Ana’s concerned about getting the syrup from Walmart even though it’s 100% maple syrup from Vermont.

“We’re Walmart people now!” she exclaims.

She’s hilarious.

...

Then, groceries at Trader Joe’s.

Veggie Burger. Potato Chips with Avocado. Green Tea. White Apricots.

Teaching a couple in-home lessons. I brought along the mini classical guitar to supplement the lessons. Jolin, 8-years old, absolutely loves picking at it.

Checking out the Salvation Army thrift store off Lynnhaven.

Meeting a guy off Shore Drive to buy a window A/C unit for Ana. $100 for new out of box 5,000 BTU unit is a good deal.

Back home. Will helps me figure out how to install it and seal all the air openings.

Dinner: Brown Jasmine Fried Rice with Onions, Carrots, Corn, Peas, and Kale.

Catching up on emails.

Ana arrives home supremely happy to see the window A/C unit running in her bedroom.

Sharing Watermelon and talks on diet in the kitchen.

Taking my bike out for a night ride on the town. The cool summer breeze splashes my face with innocence and inspiration.

Pineapple Juice.

Sleep 3:30 a.m.
