Waking up at 10:35 a.m. to the sound of Ana yelling at the cat, “NOOOO!”

Irish Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Raisins, Maple Syrup, and Kefir. Black Tea.

At the Rec for adult basketball.

Toasted PB&J. Potato Chips. Oolong Tea. Apple.

Watching Hacksaw Ridge (2016).

Teaching all my in-home lessons. In between the drives listening to NPR and a podcast for piano teachers.

Back home.

Black Beans, Kale, and Brown Rice.

Rich picks Will, Ana, and I up from the house in his ’66 Dodge Charger. Strapped in with school bus style seatbelts – blasting The Cramps on the stereo – enduring the continuous rumble of the old engine on the interstate.

At Charlie’s American Café for the punk show featuring Daikini, Boneske, PC Worship, and Naomi Punk. Drinking up a few beers and enjoying the mostly mid-tempo cathartic grunge rock sounds. This genre seems to be growing of the likes of Total Slacker and Creepoid.

Back home.

Chamomile Tea.

Sleep 3 a.m.
