DEJA at Grumpy's (October 10 2015)[i]

I remember the alarm going off but I end up waking up way past it. It's 12:47 p.m. What the heck is wrong with me? I didn't even drink last night at the gig so it's not a hangover. Unfortunately, I missed a lesson at Music Makers.

Irish Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Maple Syrup, Strawberries, and Kefir. Teeccino with Almond Milk.

At the Rec shooting the basketball around solo.

Scrambled Eggs. Everything Bagel with Non-Dairy Cream Cheese. Roasted Potatoes. Honey Green Tea.

Watching Boogie Nights (1997).

Ana and I hit the road. Visiting my mom, uncle Kenny, and Myra in Portsmouth for a couple hours.

At Grumpy's for the DEJA gig. A show isn't complete unless there are difficulties, flubs, and mistakes. But the truth is nobody in the audience ever really notices the details unless they're blatant. It's nice to hear Jimmy (the bass player) take lead on "War Pigs" – he nails the Ozzy voice. Tonight, our singer from the Electric Light Orchestra project shows up and we perform three of the ELO songs. I even pull Ana up on the stage to cover some of the female background vocals. Another day in the life of a professional gigger. I think Ana and I ate some leftover dinner somewhere in there.

Back home.

Snacking on Grapes and setlling down.

Sleep 3:30 a.m.
