It’s sometime after 11 a.m.

Her: “I’m awake and you’re not!”

Me: “Well I’m asleep and you’re not!”

She reaches over and fondles me—slowly waking up and unearthing the blood flow. There’s nothing like morning sex, especially when it happens two times in the same morning.

Breakfast: Peaches and Mango.

Rachel visits for a hot second. She’s on couch arrest but had to get the car washed.

“How are you feeling?”

Running errands—grocery shopping.

Rachel says there was a dad on dad collision today that I was not aware of involving myself and her dad: “Hahah daddy says he just saw u at target, u looked at one another. He was the one in the camo shirt hahha he likes your scruff and glasses. Hes got scruff and glasses too. Hahaha i think its funny, hes only seen u once or twice, father senses were tingling. Ive always known you two would like one another.”

Lunch: Grilled Cheese on Sourdough Bread with Tomato. Blueberry Yogurt. Honey Green Tea. Watermelon.

Editing some stuff online.

Feeling an overwhelming wave of tiredness—napping.

Some couch surfers that contacted me online a few days ago are here. Daniel and Heather—they’re free spirited travelers from Maryland.

Nighttime shift at China Wok. Art is working as well. I got him the job.

Delivering an order on Lavergne Road off VB Blvd. A guy with a few tattoos answers the door.

Me: “What are you guys up to tonight?”

Him: “Not much…just another wonderful fucking night in Virginia Beach.”

Arriving home from work discovering a meal already prepared and cooked by the couchies: Couscous with Artichoke.

Enjoying the dinner with a Miller High Life—talking with Heather and Daniel about their travels—philosophies on our attachment to material things—laws of attraction—whenever you need something it kind of finds you—the idea of loss and gain being the same thing.

James and Carmen show up. Carmen got some of us presents. Another coffee mug to add to the collection. James is really excited about his Spiderman bubble maker.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park on the TV Tower.

Adventures at the Friends School playground—everything zombie themed—zombie swinging—zombie basketball.

Daniel and I bring in a diverse dumpster haul from Trader Joe’s stock full of fruits and veggies, yogurts, cereal, tea, chicken, and big thing of uncured ham.

Eating a bowl of Frosted Shredded Wheat.

Sleep 4 a.m.
