Waking up at noon. Ana says she feels like a teenager waking up at noon.

Enjoying an unintentionally mini breakfast made by Ana: one Blueberry Pop Tart and four tiny biscuits with Teeccino.

Researching.

Grilled PB&J. Baked Lentil Potato Curls. Honey Green Tea.

Watching The Reluctant Fundamentalist (2012).

Teaching lessons at Music Makers.

"Do you mind if I eat this apple while we do the lesson?" I ask Molly.

"Not at all," she says.

"I realize this is very stereotypical of me isn't it being a teacher and all?"

Fuji Apple.

At the Great Neck Rec for adult basketball. It's been a while.

Back home.

While preparing dinner I witness Kevin struggle to take out a beer bottle from the box in the fridge. In the process he knocks over the soy sauce bottle.

Me: "Kevin, why don't you just take all the beer bottles out of the box and make your life easier?"

"I work harder, not smarter!" he replies.

Stacy laughs out loud.

"There you go right there! The American way," I tell her. "Work harder, not smarter!"

Ana and I enjoy dinner: Baked Garlic Salmon with slow cooked Beans, Green Beans, Carrots, and Volcano Rice.

"Gosh, these beans! I think I'm a bean fiend."

"You're the bean king," She tells me.

Configuring things on my fairly new Roland Juno Gi synthesizer.

Watermelon break.

Sleep 4 a.m.
