Cat and Snake Plants (October 7 2014)

Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jam Sandwich. Olive Oil Potato Chips. Honey Green Tea.

Teaching piano lessons at Music Makers.

Working an hour and a half at China Wok.

Asian Pear.

Practicing piano.

Enjoying a one-dish meal of Black Beans, Basmati Rice, Broccoli, Peppers, Onions, Carrots, and Tomatoes.

Watching Electrick Children (2014).

Going for a bike ride at the oceanfront. It's not too cold and not too hot – just enough wind to help push me along the boardwalk. Every now and then I pass by a homeless person covered completely in blankets and sheets to avoid the wind and sand while they sleep – they almost look like ghosts. The oceanfront is already a ghost town – the pier is gated up – restaurants closed – no sight of anyone hanging out on the hotel patios. I listen all the way through the newly released Weezer record. Feeling free and energetic.

Back home. Snacking on Everything Pretzel Thins and finishing the movie.

Sleep 4 a.m.
