Pool. Ian Francis.[i]

With my mom attempting to tune up a red beach cruiser bicycle of hers. We're supposed to meet a bunch of friends over in Bay Colony for a late night bike ride. The bike is proving difficult to fix. When I go to pump the tires with air I realize I can't find the PSI number on the tire. For some reason it's really important to me that I pump it with the correct tire pressure. I get a phone call from one of the friends and they've already started without us. The scene switches to a small living room that's been transformed into a pool of water – it's almost like a pond with vegetation growing along the edges but decorated with couches, loveseats, a coffee table, and a rug piece. With my mom and a mix of kids belonging to other people's families. There's also an understanding that we'll all be traveling in this pond/living room hybrid. For some reason I have my gig bag filled with instrument cables, adapters, cords, etc. Some of the stuff fell out into the water. I use a phone light to locate all the little adapter pieces one by one. In the process I come across a dead person's arm sticking out of the dirt under water. I'm not as disgusted as I should be. It's missing the hand and the nub gives me an uncomfortable stinging sensation whenever I touch it. I joke around and try to convince everyone that it's my arm.
