Dancing at FM (June 6 2014)[i]

Waking up around 1 p.m.

Wheat Flakes and Pecan Peach Granola with Vanilla Almond Milk.

Errands.

Vegetarian Chili with Bread. Banana.

At the Rec Center working out then playing a few pick-up games in the basketball gym.

Meeting up with friends at The Cure coffee shop in downtown Norfolk. With Ana, James, Becca, and Kai. Then to Field Guide for a late-night dinner. Granby Street is very popular tonight. Harbor Fest just concluded and there're large groups of people getting drunk at the clubs nearby. Meanwhile, in here, we're chomping down on fancy sandwiches and drinking fruity sodas. We see more and more familiar faces. Josiah and Bianca invite Ana and I to join them at FM (where the old Jewish Mother Backstage used to be). Bianca's friend is deejaying. Ana provides us with some hard ciders and we kick it on the dance floor. The floor goes back and forth from being slippery to sticky. The music is a mixture of hip-hop and poppy melodic blast beats. It's fun to cut a rug for a while and allow our bodies to get loose.

After dropping Ana off at her house I end up back at my house and settle down around 3:30 a.m.
