Musicplayer at Tapped (Ana and I) (May 3 2014)[i]

Waking up at 10:45 a.m.

Oat Flakes and Berry Cobbler Granola with Almond Milk.

All day shift at China Wok.

It's been two hours and not one delivery order has come through. I take advantage of the time to return a watermelon to Whole Foods and fill up my water jugs.

Two Hard Boiled Eggs (minus one yolk). Baked Salt n Vinegar Chips. Green Tea with Honey.

The day goes by slowly – entertaining myself with talk radio and Pixies songs.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Granola Bars.

Apple.

Around 10 o'clock I convince the China bosses to let me off work early so I can make the Musicplayer gig at Tapped across the street. I snag one last delivery and gobble down a container of Vegetable Lo Mein for dinner.

At Tapped. Mike Gombas and Chris Kendrick have been singing since 9. Mike Farley, a recently acquired piano student of mine shows up. Along with him, most of the gang is here (Darren, Kevin, Ana, Leisa, Stef, and a few others). I sip on two delicious Blue Moons throughout the night. I feel satisfied with my performance besides the fact that my voice was weakening towards the end of the set. Kevin wails on the violin for the song, "Dopamotive". And Ana accompanies me with her endearing voice. We have a little trouble at first when singing the Everly Brothers song but "You Are My Sunshine" and "Lovefool" deserve an A+.

After about 1:30 a.m. Ana and I arrive home. We settle down in the bedroom – after I spend some time taking care of the usual things I take care of after work we lie down. I recall her saying, "I want you, later" at the bar. After plopping down on the bed and feeling the surge of relaxation take over I whisper to her, "Let's get some rest and when you wake up in the morning you can bang me."
