From Alien Worlds.[i]

At some odd early hour just before the sun is rising I feel a pleasurable touch from my bedmate. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with a hard-on – I guess Ana noticed it and took advantage. It feels beautiful to be inside her at daybreak.

Waking up at 11 a.m.

Wheat Flakes and Maple Granola with Almond Milk.

I drive over to Mike Farley's house off Silina – he's a new piano student of mine, first lesson. He's a 37-year-old family man – he contacted me from a lessons website I set up a few months ago. I'm happy to be teaching again. He's got a quiet and peppy dog hopping around vying for attention. For the pilot lesson I teach him basic fingering patterns for the major scales.

Navel Orange.

Scrambled Egg. Bagel with Vegan Cream Cheese. Baked Salt n Vinegar Chips. Green Tea with Honey.

At the Rec Center – working out – practicing basketball.

Sparkling Clementine Izze.

Work at China Wok for a few hours – it's extremely slow and there's no reason for me to be here. But I deliver four orders and make some chump change.

Watermelon.

Barbecue Garlic Salmon with Brussel Sprouts, Carrots, Onions, and Rice.

Watching Ali (2001).

General business on the computer.

She says, "You take care of everything all the time, and I admire that in you so much."

Sleep 3:30 a.m.
