Socializing and wading in the ocean – a few girls and guys congregating near the shoreline. I’m swept away by the current...being pulled away from the conversation...further and further away.

Waking up around 12:30 p.m.

Oranges. Oranges. Oranges.

Mom and Jimmy come over.

Sharing lunch together. Grilled Cheese with Tomato and Edamame Hummus. Goldfish Crackers. Honey Green Tea.

Upstairs in my bedroom. I get Aysena connected on Skype and have her meet my mom for the first time. It’s a cute little conversation.

...

Jimmy’s sprawled out on the bed snoozing while I instruct mom how to use their new desktop computer – showing her all the kinks and tweaking. I should teach a beginner’s computer class as a job. For the most part though my mom already has a basic understanding of how to work Windows.

Jogging around the neighborhood in the cool misty night air.

Barbecue Salmon with Asparagus, Mushrooms, Onions, and Rice.

Mom and Jimmy stop by along with Jes, James, and this guy Kirk (this cowboy-looking kid who just recently got shot). We’re all one big happy family – sharing Oranges and Cookies. Darren, while opening a bottle of frozen champagne, accidently causes it to explode all over the kitchen.

...

It dwindles down to myself, James, and Darren. We get locked into Nintendo mode – trying out different games...R.B.I Baseball...Simon’s Quest. Darren and I engage in an intense match of Base Wars, a game where robots play baseball and battle each other over bases. He’s getting dramatically annoyed with the antics and feeling of defeat.

Darren: “This is why things in the 90’s were so frustrating because of games like this.”

Sleep 4 a.m.
