[i]

Awake at 3:20 p.m. I had a restless night. My body feels better but my nose is like a clogged drainage pipe.

DREAM: In my room there’s a big box filled with some kind of special desert pizza. Friends of mine offered it to me. Little dogs are running around the room. I start petting this white one. He turns over and I rub his stomach. Then I start rubbing his groin area ferociously. I see the lipstick and everything. Rocky sees me by the door and is disgusted by it. I explain to her that it’s healthy for him. Later, everybody is hanging out. Becca had just come back from a weekend audition for some popular dance crew. I am told she came in 21st place. She shows me the exact dance moves she pulled off at the audition. I keep asking her, “So you were 21 out of…?” She keeps changing the subject as if she is ashamed to say. I never find out just how many people auditioned.

Breakfast: Hot Cream of Wheat Cereal with Brown Sugar and Milk. Immune Defense.

I run to Big Lots and Kmart for some things.

Lunch: Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Tomato and Creamy Tomato Soup with Garlic Croutons. Green Tea.

Chad, Chris, and I attempt to practice at the storage unit but the light bulb adapter blew. So we bring it to my house and practice there. I’m feeling pretty good about the songs.

I perform with Josiah, Chad, and Elliott at The Boot for the Color and Long Division show. It’s nice to see everyone. I snack on some Dry Roasted Edamame and a Hershey’s Chocolate Bar as an early dinner.

A few people come over to the house. I eat Steamed Broccoli and Artichoke Hearts with Garlic Naan Bread, then Vanilla Yogurt with Strawberries. I attempt to put on Lars Von Trier’s Antichrist [2009] for Margot and I to watch but after the first 10 minutes she decides to go home because she’s tired and needs to get up early for her trip to Richmond.

Phil makes note to me the lack of April Foolishness today.

I shower and clean my teeth, then wash my clothes.

I work on lyrics for some new songs I’m going to play on Saturday at Bean There Café.

I finish watching Antichrist.

“A crying woman is a scheming woman.”

Sleep 7 a.m.
