Waking up around noon.


Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Peaches, Maple Syrup, and Almond Milk. Irish Breakfast Tea.


Ana and I eat our bowls of oatmeal while watching a YouTuber chef from Japan train his cats to do funny things.


Catching up on business.


Later on, meeting up with Elliott at Gringo’s for Tacos and Chips n’ Salsa.


Ana goes off to work while Elliott and I hop on bikes and ride on the boardwalk – working the arcade at Flipper McCoy’s – Ice Creamin’ at Lolly’s. We never hangout so it’s nice to just chill with a guy friend.


Back home. Showering. Napping.

Waking up at 11:40 a.m.


Ana made us Pancakes but not without a struggle on getting the range to work properly and creating a lot of smoke in the kitchen.


And thus begins the afternoon of summer cleaning. Mom and Ana work hard in the dining room repotting plants and attempting to revive some. I vacuum the fan, the stairs, and bedroom.


We got invited to little Megan’s house (we sometimes joke that she’s my poster child student). Her birthday is tomorrow and her family is having a little July 4th get together. Chilling with her family – throwing the volleyball around in the backyard – entertained by their dog Shiloh eager to have her butt scratched – lighting some fireworks out on the street – having a great time.


Later on, Ana and I practice music at the studio. During, there’s a struggle to get her spirits up. We sit in the truck in the parking spot in front of 1435 digging deep into her emotional rollercoaster and where it all stems from.


It’s after 1 a.m. we pop some popcorn and enjoy the first episode of Stranger Things 3 (2019).




Staying up late catching up on things.

Waking up at 11 a.m.


Oatmeal with Cinnamon, Strawberries, Maple Syrup, and Almond Milk. English Breakfast Tea.


Ana and I go to Great Neck Rec for working out and basketball. Getting into a quick full court game.


Cantaloupe. Scrambled Eggs. Toast with Vegan Cream Cheese. Salt n Vinegar Chips. Coffee.


Teaching lessons at Music Makers.


Back home. Making dinner: Brown Rice Egg Noodles with Mushrooms, Brussel Sprouts, Tomatoes, Onions, Peas, and Bread.


Running some late night errands.


Ana and I practice songs at the studio.


Fruit and more fruit.

Date and Almond Breakfast Bar. English Breakfast Tea.


Ana and I work out at the Great Neck Rec. I manage to get a couple 4-on-4 games.


Scrambled Eggs. Bagel with Butter and Jam. Salt n Vinegar Chips. Coffee.

Watching Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers (2018).


Teaching lessons at Music Makers.


Back home. Eating leftovers for dinner.


ELO rehearsal. We actually run through both sets (a 90 minute show).




Vegging out – snacking on Peanut Butter Pretzels and Chamomile Tea.
