This is an open and unfiltered diary-style journal
on the life of James Robert Smith.
This blog will contain sometimes graphic experiences (both beautiful and ugly),
sometimes stark insight, and all honest and factual documentation of dreams, diet, activity, and thoughts.
Cereal with Blueberries and Banana. Irish Breakfast Tea.
Catching up on business.
Scraping off the store hours on the front door at Music
Makers and applying an updated one. We’ve recently opened up on Fridays.
Scrambled Eggs. Toast with Butter and Jam. Spinach. Coffee.
Teaching lessons.
It’s the first time in a long time the sun is out – reached
63 degrees today!
Back home. Ana cooked a simple quick dinner for us: Japanese
Style Fried Rice with Sweet Potatoes. I add smoked Salmon to my dish.
Taking the dryer apart to replace the drum glide on it. We
had been experiencing a persistent squeak and scratching sound. I already knew
the drum was leaning to the right enough to scrape the sidewall. Upon further
investigation I discover the rear bearing was protruding through the bracket.
Well, I guess I gotta order another part.
...
It looks like a face crying out for help. But we just
ignored his squeals every time we turned him on.
Cereal with Banana, Blueberries, and Almond Milk. Irish
Breakfast Tea.
Coaching MMLIVE band rehearsals all day.
Ana brings me a PB&J and a Coffee cause I didn’t have
time to run home. Perfect Valentine’s gesture.
Finishing up around 5:30. Running a few errands – buying Ana
a couple roses to have set up at the restaurant we reserved for later.
Power napping.
Then, Ana and I drive out to Aldo’s Italian restaurant for a
nice Valentine’s Day dinner. I spread out the rose petals across the table for
special effect. I haven’t been here since I was a kid. Ordering the Linguine
and Clams along with a Napoleon puff pastry. Sharing Chianti wine.
Back home. Doing some chores and catching up on business.
Ana continues the ultimate project of cleaning (and
repairing) her room. I help out with the laundry and other various things.
Running errands – picking up my pants and shirts from the
tailor. This nice Korean lady over by Ollie’s did a nice job. Dropping off
important mail. Buying a wiper blade for the truck. Dropping off things at
Music Makers – meanwhile, Rebecca is opening up for lessons.
Scrambled Eggs. Toast with Butter and hardly any jam. Salt n
Vinegar Chips. Coffee.
At the gym running and working out.
Ana and I run more errands – stopping by Michael’s to buy a
shelf for Ana then groceries at Trader Joe’s.
Back home. Warming up a hodge podge of leftovers for dinner.
Ana and I watch Mandy (2018), the
ultimate horror metal movie starring Nicholas Cage.
Later on, settling down in my room. Ana sleeps next to me
but not before making fire.
