[i]

Around 3 p.m. I wake up.

Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs. Toast with Butter and Blackcurrant Jam. Orange Mango Juice. Zinc and Alfalfa.

Easy Rider Documentary.

I ride my bike to Fresh Market – getting lost in a trance waiting in line, watching you walk out the door, admiring your step and your exciting purple jacket – the cashier woman is analyzing me – oh ginger candy, sweet and tangy, enveloping my teeth.

Thrift Store – checking out at the register – the friend of a friend from Cox High School, he’s always working when I’m there and every time he gives me a discount for no reason – a skinny Asian man behind me waiting to check out his books including a complete encyclopedia on gnomes and a book called Beautiful Virginia.

Streching. Yoga.

Watching a documentary on the history of gangs, Crips and Bloods: Made in America (2008).

I get frustrated over an argument with somebody.

Lunch: Grilled Cheese with Tomato. Salt n Vinegar Chips. Green Tea.

Band practice at the storage unit with Chris and Chad.

Elliott enlightens me with some car crash videos from NASCAR while I eat dinner.

We continue entertaining ourselves with Youtube videos.

Dinner: Lemongrass Thai Noodles with Peppers and Onions. Edamame Soybeans. Steamed Broccoli, Green Beans, and Snap Peas. Garlic Naan Bread. Yuengling.

I finish watching Crips and Bloods: Made in America.

“Part of the mechanics of oppressive people is to pervert them to the extent that they become the instruments of their own oppression.”

Songwriting.

I finally use the Neti Pot successfully and my nostrils feel euphoric.

Fresh Pineapple. Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

More songwriting.

Shower.

Roller Karussell: the new sensation in Germany.

Sleep around 7 a.m.
